Edinburgh Raspberry Pi Jam
The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card sized computer that provides a low cost and low power microprocessor platform, suitable for experimentation with physical electronics and computer programming concepts. It can be deployed remotely, using battery or solar cells, or used as a desktop computer.
The Edinburgh Raspberry Pi Jam will be hosted in CodeBase on the 30th of April
2016. The day will include a range of different talks and hands on demonstrations, introducing and developing programming concepts. Programs written in Scratch, Python and C will be introduced, together with a selection of additional peripherals. The goal of the event is to encourage computer programming and experimentation with microprocessors.
