Two Way Patch Weeknight Protest

Do you prefer your social drinks with a little more social commentary?

From 29 March to 27 April The Common Sense by Melanie Gilligan is on show at CodeBase. In the 5 part video series we join a group of students looking back on the introduction of the two-way patch. The patch redefines the way people connect, creating instant emotional feedback between connected users. In the near future of The Common Sense, this is the future we (at the present) have been dreaming about. However, is that really true?

What do you think of this near future? On Thursday 5 April (16.30 – 17.30) you can grab a beer, find out where you stand and stage your own protest! Together or alone you can create a poster, either for or against the patch. The workshop can be your first introduction to the work or a new exploration of themes you work with everyday: it is your protest.
