Desktop Support Engineer - Entry Level
We are looking for an entry level Desktop Support Engineer to join our growing and talented team where you will apply your education and passion for computing, PCs, Macs, Windows Servers and fixing things to enable our talented teams to build innovative, engaging and enjoyable games across the mobile and social gaming landscape.
We are looking for a recent graduate or a desktop support engineer with 1-2 years experience who has the ability to learn quickly. Without a doubt, the number one attribute you must possess is a fantastic attitude.
Areas of Delivery
Provide 1st & 2nd level support of all incidents and service requests via Jira Service Desk
Accurate ticket logging of all IT incidents and service requests whilst managing individual ticket queue
Follow the escalation process to ensure a consistent and professional IT support service is offered to the company
Forwarding incidents/requests to 3rd party suppliers and following up on them to ensure timely resolution
Manage all end user administration such as new starts, leavers etc
Configuration and asset management
Office365 email configuration
Active Directory user administration
Knowledge Base management
Windows and Mac desktop support
Installation/moves of hardware such as printers, MFD's (multi-function devices), PC's and all peripheral items
Support of phones and phone system
Who we're looking for
Fantastic attitude - no problem is too difficult and no work is too simple with a willingness to pitch in when times are tough.
Excellent team player who can learn from and share their knowledge with others.
Have an appreciation for mobile games and technologies.
Be qualified in a technical discipline or similar.
- Microsoft Office suite knowledge, including 2016 / Office 365
- Windows 7/10 desktop knowledge and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of building and configuring PC's and troubleshooting support issues
- Understanding of basic networking protocols, including DNS and DHCP
- Good communicator
- Excellent organization skills
- Previous IT background, or recent graduate in IT-related qualifications
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Availability to work outside of hours when and if required
