C++ APPLICATION DEVELOPER

Are you passionate about your work and want to have a major impact on the communication and entertainment industries? Join our growing team of dynamic innovators in procedural facial animation technology. We seek a talented C++ developer. What you will be doing: Collaborating with other software engineers and speech technology experts, to develop applications based on the Speech Graphics C++ API. Our core technology is a unique modular fusion of speech recognition, human behavior modeling, physical modeling, and 3D graphics. You would be building applications on top of these layers, as well as working in the core as needed. Generally, you will participate in development and deployment of portable applications on Windows/Mac using QT, as well as Android/iOS app development.

Key characteristics we are looking for:

  • University degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related field
  • High proficiency in C++ and OOP
  • Scripting skills (bash, python, etc.)
  • Resourcefulness and creativity; eagerness to learn; history of self-teaching and personal projects
  • Excellent programming practices, OO design and clear documentation
  • Good communication skills and cooperation with colleagues
  • Ability to work to deadlines and regular progress reporting
  • We prefer “finishers” — people who go the extra mile to make sure everything is just right, and have a strong inward sense of high standards

Other experience and skills that could enhance your qualifications as a candidate:

  • Prior industry experience with packaging and launching new applications
  • Experience working across multiple platforms (Windows/Mac/Linux/Android/iOS)
  • Specialization in one or more topical aspects of the field, such as speech technology, digital signal processing, 3D animation or machine learning
  • Database, networking, or web programming experience
