Freelance C# .NET Web Developer (junior to mid-level)
We are Bad Dinosaur - a software development agency that specialises in turning early stage ideas into working prototypes and then working closely with clients to take their idea to market. Our clients range from non-tech people with an idea they would like to test out, to long running businesses that are looking to innovate. We're a small team, currently just three of us, and as we're taking on more work we're looking for a helping hand in the short to medium term whilst we scale up - that's where you come in!
We build on tried and tested technologies and ones that can be used to rapidly prototype - no bleeding edge JS frameworks or things that can scale to a billion users but take over a year and ten developers to create. We mostly use .NET MVC latest versions, skinned Twitter Bootstrap on the front-end and Entity Framework for database interactions. We also build Xamarin apps from time to time, mostly with Xamarin Forms and WebAPI, and use lovely shared C# libraries to make life easier. We're very much a Microsoft stack business and would prefer to have arguments over how to make a product succeed than whether to use tabs or spaces. You don't need to have ten years experience, you just need to have worked with .NET MVC before and have a decent idea of how to use ORM's like Entity Framework.
It's not a requirement to be based in Scotland, but it is preferable. We have an inflatable unicorn so let us know if you have any allergies.
