Utilising micro:bits with laser cutting for cool interactive device.
In these sessions, I walk through how a micro:bit can be programmed using a MicroPython (a portable derivative of the popular Python programming language) to create games and smart devices. Typically, when sessions are short we focus on the laser-cut cases we create for both devices. In longer sessions, I also cover how they can be programmed. GameFace packages up the micro:bits into a standalone game device, and microbIOT creates a device that talks to Twitter, either lighting up in response to new mentions, and tweeting temperature readings.
