Speakers

Eamonn Carey

Managing director at TechStars London. He's been an entrepreneur for almost 20 years - starting several companies - some of which succeeded, but slightly more failed. He has invested in over 40 companies across Europe, the US and Asia.

Danae Shell

Danae Shell is Chief Marketing Officer at Care Sourcer, the UK’s first comparison and matching site for care. A native Tennessean, Danae moved to Scotland after university and has worked in the Scottish tech industry ever since. She has worked as a software developer, UX designer, and researcher before settling in as a marketer at FreeAgent during their scale-up period.

Ross Sheil

Head of startup growth at Stripe - Ross is focused on hyper-charging the European startup ecosystem ensuring startups can start, run and scale on Stripe globally. Ross was previously Head of Mobile and an early hire at Twitter, building the team, revenue and operations in Europe from scratch. Ross is also a board advisor to some of the UK's fastest growing startups and lectures in technology at Dublin University Technology.

Kevin McCallum

Chief commercial officer at FreeAgent - Kevin is an experienced software executive running Free Agent's commerical operations and go-to-market strategy. Kevin previously ran commercial operations at Pegasus software and TSG. Kevin is deeply experienced in the startup space and was a key member of the management team driving Free Agent's international growth and exit to RBS.

Jackie Karmel

Head of industry at Stripe - Jackie runs Stripe’s retail and travel function in the UK working with global brands such as ASOS, John Lewis, Charlotte Tilbury and Footasylum to re architect their payments infrastructure. She joined Stripe from studentbeans.com, the UK largest platform for students where she ran the eCommerce division. When not talking payments she can be found cycling up mountains.
