Welcoming anyone involved or working in technology.
TechMeetup is a monthly excuse for developers and the tech community around Scotland to meet up and learn new stuff from each other. No name badges, no sales pitches, just informative presentations from your peers and a chance to meet some of the tech community around you.
We're not centred around specific languages, technologies or disciplines; we believe there's stuff to learn from mixing everyone together. There's no cost to attend, and food and drink are provided.
1. Common structure and maintenance issues with bash scripts
2. How good practice can make this better, including maintaining a re-usable collection of script snippets
3. A tool to make some of the pains of good practice easier to follow, with a standard library of said snippets, and some syntax macros
As usual there will be plenty of time to chat to intersting tech geeks over pizza and drinks. Many thanks to CodeBase for their generous hosting, and to our sponsors: SkyScanner, Cultivate and Informatics Ventures.
We can now be found on MeetUp, please encourage your friends to come along too. https://www.meetup.com/TechMeetup/events/259074970/
There's free drinks, pizza, snacks and plenty of time around the talks to catch up on the latest tech news and gossip. The event is free and no sign-up is necessary.
Big thanks to our sponsors: Skyscanner, Cultivate and Informatics Ventures.
TechMeetup is a community powered event, so if you want to speak at a future event please email firstname.lastname@example.org or speak to one of the organisers at the event.
