Kate Mckay is hot off the heels from the Design Sprint Conference at Google HQ in Colorado, Kate is encouraging Scottish businesses to adopt ‘Design Sprints’ as an effective and fast-track way to validate and de-risk digital projects, find the best innovation opportunities and drive organisational change and transformation. Kate will be opening the evening discussing the ‘create’ aspect of the digital tech product journey with her inspiring stories and experience.

Roan Lavery is the co-founder and Chief Product Officer of FreeAgent, an online accounting software company based in Edinburgh. Over the past 12 years Roan has helped build FreeAgent from a weekend side project to one of the leading accounting software companies in the UK, with over 90,000 customers. We’re delighted to have Roan join us to share his experiences of building and scaling a digital tech product.

Andy Robinson Andy leads Deliveroo’s new Edinburgh tech hub, where he works with a team that builds the payments systems powering Deliveroo’s global marketplace. He was previously Chief Commercial Officer at Cultivate, a software development company where he led their recent acquisition by Deliveroo. Cultivate originally being a digital tech service company and is now one of the biggest scale-ups in Europe. We’re excited to have Andy discussing his experience on scaling up and hearing about his learnings so far.
