This month we welcome Dr Alistair Forbes (LogicNow)
Alistair Forbes is the General Manager of LogicNow – a global leader in the provision of IT Service Management tools to Managed Service Providers and end-user organisations. Alistair co-founded HoundDog Technology in 2004 and has been with the company as it has grown from a two-person startup to a business with customers in over 100 countries, still based in Scotland and employing 500 people in 11 offices around the world. Alistair has extensive technology leadership experience in both SMB and large corporate environments, defining and delivering high tech solutions in a number of vertical markets. He has particular expertise in Internet and Software as a Service technologies and has been responsible for delivering a range of innovative online solutions over the last 15 years. Originally qualified as a research scientist, Alistair has also held senior roles in consulting organizations, gaining insight into a broad range of business sectors. Alistair has a B.Sc. from Aberdeen University and a Ph.D. from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne.
