Junior Developer - Speech Technology
CereProc is an Edinburgh-based creator of text-to-speech software. We build high quality synthetic voices using state of the art techniques in software engineering, machine learning, and digital signal processing. Developers use our CereVoice software to enable speech output in virtually any environment. We produce developer kits, high-availability server software, and cloud services. Our customers range from individual blind users to multinationals like LG and Intel, and we specialise in creating custom voices for virtual assistants and robots. CereProc’s free academic SDK is used by universities around the world to access high quality TTS in their research.Junior Developer Role
In this role you will work with our experienced international team of speech researchers and developers to maintain CereProc’s product line and create new text-to-speech products and services, gaining experience across many software platforms. CereVoice supports everything from low-powered embedded devices through Android, iPhone, Linux, Windows and Mac. Customers integrate our synthesis engine natively using C, C++, Python, Java, and C#, in client-server environments, or via web services using SOAP or REST.
This is a full time role based at CereProc’s head office in central Edinburgh.

£20,000-£24,000 dependent on experience
