CodeClan is looking for a Campus Director with experience in Facilities Management and or Customer Service. This role reports directly to the CEO and will manage the Campus Managers plus work closely with CMO, Sales, CDO and Director of Finance.
With campuses in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Inverness, CodeClan is Scotland’s first accredited digital skills academy, offering a range of digital skills courses that have helped more than 800 people from a range of backgrounds acquire the skills to launch new careers and or to be promoted for the next wave of digital technology.
We also help our graduates find their first job in tech with expert career assistance. We work with large corporations to build bespoke offerings in the world of coding languages and data.
We are looking for a candidate that is located in Glasgow but can commit to at least 2 days in Edinburgh. This is a perfect role for someone who needs a break from the corporate or start-up stress of high-pressure business and to do something that is great for Scotland's growth in the digital world. Profile of Candidate
A mature, hands-on, proactive person who can manage the flow of 75+ people per day
A strong people manager that can develop the next generation of leaders
Friendly and approachable with a growth mindset
A confident and customer service orientated person
Experience and Attributes
Office management and contractor management experience
Understands client needs and can be adaptable to meet new standards
Experienced in coaching and leadership methods
At least 5 years at management or mid-level role
Has experience in education, training, event management or has a college/university degree
Manage CodeClan’s 3 facilities and any future locations
Coach the Campus Managers to sustain an award-winning environment for successful learning
Manage student issues when situations arise
Create standards for all sites to meet for a positive employment outcome
Assist the CEO in implementing innovative solutions within the organization
Be part of the Executive team and assist in growing the CodeClan mission
Be able to engage with students, alumni and partners to understand the impact of our courses and how to support additional courses for Scotland’s Digital needs
Engage with the Events team to have the facilities to be part of the brand experience
Salary range circa 42k to 45k annually with benefits. Flexible hours, 34 vacation days. Start date negotiable within the next 2 months
