Do you want to help unlock the power of data?
How would you like to join an award winning organisation providing training for people across Scotland in digital technologies skills? We are CodeClan, a digital skills academy with opportunities for data professionals to become instructors and help us create the digital workforce of the future.
You will need to have experience as a data analyst or data scientist using R, Python and SQL and have delivered both visualisation and machine learning projects. Ideally this will be in a business context. We also need you to have the communication skills necessary to not only teach complex concepts in a simple way, but also to guide our cohorts of enthusiastic students into translating business requirements into actionable insight.
We have a team-teaching approach so there will be plenty of support for you inside and outside the classroom. You’ll bring industry experience and ideas which will help shape the course curriculum we offer.
Due to the development of our new Data Analysis course we now have vacancies in our campuses in Edinburgh and Glasgow. You’ll be joining an enthusiastic and thriving team which is passionate about what we do.

Desired skills & experience
Here are some of the skills we’re looking for:
1+ years experience as a data analyst or data scientist
Experience building both informative visualisations and solving business problems using predictive analytics
Solid knowledge of R including use of the Tidyverse and RShiny packages
Knowledge of SQL/Python/CSS
Knowledge of data governance/privacy/data quality best practices
Knowledge of statistics and machine learning
