Who are MarktoMarket?

MarktoMarket are a leading SaaS/DaaS (Software as Service/Data as a Service) business in the FinTech space. We help knowledge workers make significant acquisition and investment decisions. We’re well funded and our client base is growing quickly. We’re looking for Account Executives to help us win clients in the Private Equity, Investment Banking and Corporate Development markets.

What will I do day-to-day?

  • Manage the full sales cycle, helping your dedicated SDR team to identify/qualify markets and leads, and then taking sales qualified leads right through to close

  • Sell to the brightest minds in the Financial services industry. Our clients include Partners/Directors of some of the most innovative Private Equity, Investment Banking, Legal and other advisory firms

  • Articulate key value propositions for different customer types, and display a thorough understanding of your markets as well as the business benefits and corresponding features and data we provide for them

  • Use consultative selling techniques to offer unique perspectives on each customer’s business and how we might be able to drive success for our customers

  • Listen intently to customers to understand their pains and workflows to help our product and engineering teams build solutions to drive our value for clients

  • Demo the MarktoMarket solutions both in-person and remotely over Zoom, consulting prospects on high-value initiatives they can drive using MarktoMarket

  • Help prospects navigate their internal purchase processes

  • You’ll be the master of your own destiny, driving your own pipeline and running your own sales pod. Our sales teams are constantly on the look-out for new target markets, use cases and opportunities to drive growth

  • Report to the CCO

About you:

  • You have a proven track record of selling subscription data, business intelligence, services, content, research, or software, ideally to financial services, consulting or advisory firms

  • You have 1-3 years experience closing high 4-figure and 5-figure deals

  • You have sold into Business Development, Research, Analyst, Corporate Finance, Strategy and corporate development teams

  • You have a proven track record of consistently hitting targets

  • You are an exceptional communicator

  • You are highly proactive

  • You have closing experience, and are adept at building business cases, navigating enterprises, negotiation contracts and pricing

  • You love winning
