Job description

Wallet.Services’ Marketing Executive is a fantastic opportunity to lead the execution of our company marketing strategy, to provide value and support the objectives of our business development team. You will be responsible for communicating our product and value proposition to business and government customers.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you’ll establish and execute customer-driven marketing and content, supporting direct sales and strategic channel partnerships. You’ll join a supportive team and have opportunity to be creative, driving your ideas from inception to execution.

You’ll be working on:

  • Content development – blogs, videos, infographics and webinars

  • Sales enablement – creating engaging sales materials and toolkits

  • Communications – optimising our storytelling and messaging through online content, events, community activities, segmented newsletters and email marketing

  • Customer journey – optimising and nurturing leads at every stage of the sales pipeline

  • Sales co-ordination – managing customer segments, campaigns, incoming pipeline and seeking co-selling opportunities with business partners.

The role is initially a 10-month placement from September 2019 to June 2020, in a vacancy created by academic leave. Initially it’s a fixed term part time position, but moving forward - We’re growing fast and the sky’s the limit.

We’ll invest in developing your skills and you’ll have the opportunity to learn and extend your network. And if you have your own ideas, bring them with you, we’re only too happy to hear them!

Requirements

Preference will be given to candidates with the following demonstrable skills:

  • Strong verbal and writing skills

  • Organisation skills and proven ability to meet deadlines

  • All MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook etc)

  • Squarespace

  • Can work from home occasionally, if required

The Details

  • 10-month placement

  • Initially up to 3 days per week equivalent

  • Competitive salary based on number of days worked
