Junior Developer

Make It Social are currently looking to employ a new member for their team in a Junior Developer role. They are a groups of passionate and innovative individuals with a mission to make the world 'a truly social place'. The company offers simple group booking solution that quickly integrates into clients' existing systems via API's. Once unified, the product captures the organic social group booker with a benefit of opening a marketing host for future generations. They work with clients from a range of industries, including travel and events ticketing firms. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • help with the maintenance of current systems including bug tracking and fixing; primarily, this will revolve around the frontend of systems, however backend development may also be required from time to time
  • contribute to the development of new and existing ideas
  • act as a contact for support matters, should clients have questions
  • contribute to the ongoing development of our developer area where clients can find documentation on our systems

Essential Skills

  • Javascrips (proficient in Polymer or at least 1 other popular framework)
  • eb Components
  • HTML5 and CSS
  • ability to integrate and operate well in a team environment
  • sensitive approach to handling confidential information
  • attention to detail and ability to produce work to a high degree of accuracy
  • ability to plan and prioritise

This is a full time, permanent position with an immediate start. Some flexibility around working hours will be required during busier times. Salary negotiable depending on experience.
