The Role

We need a Senior Software Engineer to join our development team. Someone who can lead a small team by example and influence, driving  process, quality, and engineering discipline.  This is a key role which will drive technical aspects of project development and work closely with the CTO and Product Manager.  He or she will lead and mentor a small team of test engineer, mid and junior software engineers, and crypto engineers. Taking the lead in continuous improvement of processes and procedures, there will be significant influence and responsibility for planning and delivery of an enterprise-grade software platform, and production of scalable maintainable code. In addition the role will be include direct delivery of more complex issues of software development.

This is a key role for someone passionate about technology, quality and teamwork, in a fundamental technology project, in a fast moving exciting field. Get in on the ground floor in an early stage company going places.

Essential Skills

  • C# (Dot Net Core 2)

  • TDD or equivalent

  • Microservice Architecture

  • Great team player and communicator

  • Keen to grasp more responsibility, lead through influence

  • Passionate to learn and move quickly in career and  challenge the status quo

  • Mathematical / Scientific understanding of programming

  • Cryptographic routines

  • Security assessment of crypto graphic routines

  • Cryptographic key management  

Desired Skills 

  • Experience in scaling high-concurrency, high-availability cloud based applications

  • Scripting languages

  • Commercial development experience involving distributed ledger concepts and existing blockchain platforms

  • Azure
