CODE OF CONDUCT [Aberdeen]

The following Code of Conduct applies to all users and occupiers of Tech Hub.  All users and occupiers must comply with, and ensure that their employees, agents, visitors and those for whom they are legally responsible comply with, the terms and conditions set out in this Code of Conduct: 

1.1               Users and occupiers of the Tech Hub must:

1.1.1          not perform or engage in any activity or cause or permit anything that is reasonably likely to be disruptive or dangerous to any other user or occupier of the Tech Hub;

1.1.2          not use the Property, Accommodation or any part of the Tech Hub to conduct or pursue any illegal, immoral or offensive activities;

1.1.3          act in a respectful manner towards other occupiers and users of the Tech Hub and their employees, visitors and guests;

1.1.4          not use the Property or Accommodation in a retail, medical, or other capacity involving frequent visits by members of the public, as a residential or living space, or for any exclusively non-business purpose;

1.1.5          not use the Property or Accommodation for the sale of any goods, products or services. This is not part of our culture and will not be tolerated

1.1.6          not access areas outwith those designated for use by you – if we find you outside this space we may ask you to leave;

1.1.7          not access the Tech Hub outwith the operating hours that are specified by us from time to time without our prior consent;

1.1.8          not take any pets or other animals into the Tech Hub (other than guide dogs);

1.1.9          store significant amounts of currency or other valuable goods or items in the Property, Accommodation or any part of the Tech Hub that are not commonly kept in commercial offices;

1.1.10        not make any copies of any keys, keycards or other means of entry to the Tech Hub, Property or Accommodation or lend, share or transfer any keys or keycards to any third party, unless authorised by us in advance;

1.1.11        not take, copy or use any information or intellectual property belonging to other member companies or their members or guests, including without limitation any confidential or proprietary information, personal names, business names, trademarks, service marks, logos, trade dress, other identifiers or other intellectual property, or modified or altered versions of the same;

1.1.12        allow any visitor(s) to enter the Tech Hub without registering such visitor(s) and performing any additional required steps according to our policies;

1.1.13        operate any equipment within the Property or Accommodation that has a higher heat output or electrical consumption than in a typical personal office environment, or places excessive strain on electrical, IT, HVAC or structural systems in the Tech Hub, with such determination to be made in our sole discretion, without our prior approval;

1.1.14        not download any illegal content;

1.1.15        not operate any apparatus so as to interfere with the lawful use of electronic communications apparatus or the provision of wireless data services elsewhere in the Tech Hub;

1.1.16        clear your hot-desk space (where applicable) of all personal effects and paperwork at the end of each session;

1.1.17        recycle, where possible, and dispose of non-recyclable waste in the kitchen bins provided for those purposes;

1.1.18        report any issues or faults to us as soon as possible.
