We are excited to announce that AWS Training, in conjunction with premier partner Version 1, are hosting an AWS Training Bootcamp in Aberdeen.
What is the AWS Training Bootcamp?
In this bootcamp, attendees will learn about AWS products and common solutions, and accelerate your knowledge of how to build cloud-based solutions on AWS following our best practice guidance.
During the week attendees will also have the opportunity to practice your new skills in an AWS Game Day led by Version 1. For more details about what the week will look like, please see the agenda below.
Day 1: AWS Technical Essentials
Days 2-4: Architecting on AWS
Day 5: AWS Game Day – The AWS Game Day will familiarise you with the AWS environment and challenge you to come up with ways to solve problems based on the AWS resources available.
When and where is the AWS Training Bootcamp?
The AWS Training Bootcamp will take place from Monday 17th February through Friday 21st February, hosted in One Tech Hub offices.
Will it be suitable for me?
The AWS Training Bootcamp is intended for Solution Architects, Solution Designers, Developers and Technical individuals looking to develop their skills on AWS.
How much is the AWS Training Bootcamp?
The total price for the courses which make up the AWS Training Bootcamp is normally – £2,000. This event price has been heavily reduced by AWS to £750 per person plus vat.
Please note that all attendees should bring a laptop to access hands on labs and e-books throughout the week.

Message from the organisers:
Unfortunately the Game Day scheduled for Friday 21st will now not take place due to an insufficient number of attendees to ensure it is a viable learning experience for you. We will now schedule a new separate date in Aberdeen to run the AWS Game Day, and as attendees of the training week you will be given priority attendance at no cost. Please do advise us at this stage of any specific dates in the future that you would not be able to attend the Game Day, and we will look to avoid those.
We are also exploring options to deliver an alternative session on Friday next week too, and will revert back to you with confirmation of the options available to you. In addition, AWS will be providing each attendee on the Training next week with extra hands on lab tokens for you to practice with in your own time after the training is completed.
