Neurodiversity Meetup [Edinburgh]

  • CodeBase Edinburgh 37a Castle Terrace Edinburgh, Scotland, EH1 2EL United Kingdom (map)

This meetup is for anyone in the tech startup scene who is neurodivergent or interested in learning about neurodiversity. Open to everyone.

About this event

What is it?

Our Neurodiversity Meetup has been created as a space for Neurodivergent (ND) people and allies working in the Scottish Tech Ecosystem to meet and discuss how we can make our spaces more inclusive to neurodivergent individuals.

What can I expect?

This is an informal space so discussions will be group-led. We cover a range of topics depending on what attendees are keen to explore, such as reasonable adjustments, recruitment, progression and more.

If you have a topic you'd like to see be discussed or a speaker/facilitator you would love to recommend, please get in touch at events.edinburgh@thisiscodebase.com.

Where and when is this taking place?

This meetup will take place from 12.30-1.30pm on Wednesday 14th February at CodeBase Edinburgh, 37a Castle Terrace, Edinburgh, EH1 2EL. We will be in Bruntsfield Links - for those not based in CodeBase Edinburgh, please meet at reception and someone will show you through to the room. There is also the option to join online.

Who will be there?

The event is open to everyone, whether neurodivergent or neurotypical, who is keen to discuss creating inclusive space.

The event is organised by Sarah (they/her), Events & Digitals Coordinator, CodeBase.
